Resitan SPS401/1 Shell molding resin This is a Novolac Phenolic resin. ( shelf life 3 month and packing in 25 kg bags)

Direction For Use Coating is possible in all commercial mixers.
Depending on the type of mixers, coating temperatures
between 130 −150 °C can be used.
Resitan SPS401/1 requires 10 − 16% of Hexamine to be
cured. To facilitate core release calcium stearate may be
used as a shall.
When water – based paints are used to coat cores a 5%
alcohol addition to mixture may be advantageous,
avoiding poor wetting problem.
Resitan has been producing this resin with a variety of
flow and melting ranges to cover a wide range of
applications.
Storage Life Max 3 months.
Storage Conditions RESITAN SPS401/1 must be kept in a cool and dry place at max. 20°C.
Safety Precautions Like all synthetic resins, this material can cause skin irritation, which can be more or less severe according to the skin sensitivity of the person concerned. Therefore operators should always wear industrial and full makes.
