Resitan HF100 Hot Box Resin
This is a high-qualified Urea-formaldehyde modified Furfuryl alcohol resin makes an extremely low viscosity and improves the sands flow. Resitan HF100 is ideally suited for production of cores for gray cast (especially automotive casting). As a result of its elasticity and thermal sensitivity it can be used with core shooting equipment of all types.

Description
RESITAN HF100 is a high – qualified Urea – modified Furfuryl alcohol resin. The high furfuryl alcohol content makes an extremely low viscosity and improves the sands flow.

Applications
RESITAN TF200 is ideally suited for protection of cores for grey cast (especially automotive casting). As a result of its elasticity and thermal sensitivity it can be used with core shooting equipments of all types.

Direction For Use
RESITAN HF100 is used in combination with hardener RESITAN H004.

Suggested Laboratory Test
Arrange the following test mixture at 22 °C: 100 parts (by weight) silica sand (AFS 48-52) 0.5 parts ( by weight) Resitan H004 2 parts (by weight) Resitan HF100 0.2 parts (by weight) Konserver.(if necessary) At first add hardener to sand and mix for 1 – 2 minutes then add Resitan HF100 mix well for another 3 minutes. Then add Konserver to sand and mix for one minute. Konserver make better flow ability of mixture in shooter machine. Test condition: Shooting pressure 6 bar Temperature 220 – 250 °C

Storage Life
6 months.

Storage Conditions
Must be kept in a cool place (20°C) in closed drums. keep away from any source of heat and direct sunlight.

Safety Precautions
RESIN: Like all these synthetic resin, this material can cause skin sensitivity of the person concered. Therefore operators should always wear industrial gloves. Activator (hardener) : This catalyst is a solution of different salts in water and in addition to the above precautions eyes should be protected against splashing. In cause of accidental contacts, the affected parts should immediately be flushed whit water.
